The problem is, it's not always clear where the file you just downloaded was saved on your phone or tablet. When Android first launched, finding files was especially cumbersome due to the fact that not every Android device came with a file manager app. A lot has changed since then. Most Android devices now come with some sort of file manager preinstalled, and for those that don't, there's a better alternative anyway.
Left: Files app on a Pixel 3. By far the easiest way to find downloaded files on Android is to look in your app drawer for an app called Files or My Files. Look for My Files app in the Samsung folder on your Samsung phone. All the files are stored in My Files including the Downloads. If you find difficulty locating the app, use the search bar.
In the Chrome app, tap the Kebab menu three dots located on the top right corner of the screen. I understand that finding your way around the Android operating system might seem slightly daunting at first. These methods are helpful to get you back on track and locate the downloaded files you need to access.

I have no more error messages, my apps are behaving like they used to and nothing has notified me that it has unexpectedly stopped working. Seems very stable so I say thank you to Samsung.

Hi Pio, Is it with just one file type or with all of them? I tapped to open a download and got a message asking me if I wanted to scan downloads for threats.
Can you please tell me how to disable that scan setting?
